Maple and Akaroa, two beautiful self-contained cottages

Home is where the heart is. And Maple Grove has a huge, warm welcoming heart that we’d love to share with you.
From the moment you enter, the unique property embraces you. Every season here is wonderful – resplendent autumn colours, balmy summer nights, dragonflies over the pond in spring and the crisp country air on fresh winter’s morning. Ahhhh…. The peace of it all, excessively satisfying. This is what life was meant to be about! We offer a fantastic location for a little bit of pampering, with the ultimate rejuvenation and relaxing…The perfect holiday combination! Imagine crisp cotton linen and relaxing sounds of rural New Zealand to soothe you to sleep. It really doesn`t get much better.

Our two quality cottages (Maple and Akaroa) are privately positioned on our lovingly maintained lifestyle property. Each cottage is charmingly decorated, and each has a unique romantic touch, (including an outside bath in Maple Cottage). Space for snuggling, and space to call your own – both cottages offer two bedrooms (1 queen, 2 singles), a well appointed bathroom and beautifully sunny open plan kitchen/living areas and laundries. We pride ourselves on our quality, and know that you’ll appreciate it too.

Fresh fruit and flowers greet our valued guest on arrival, and a scrumptious breakfast is a fantastic start to your day. At day’s end, sit by the pond, rest a while in the grove or enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda while watching the sun go down behind Tasman Bays majestic Mt. Arthur and the glorious mountains of Kahurangi National Park.

When catering for yourself, the kitchen is well appointed with hotplates and microwave. For al-fresco entertaining, a gas barbecue beside the brook, under the trees, allows you to enjoy outdoor summer cooking. If a holiday to you means getting away from cooking, then you’ll be spoilt for choice in dining out at the many cafes, vineyards and restaurants only a short drive away in Mapua or Motueka, In both cottages, fragrant toiletries, crisp towels and fluffy bath robes are supplied, As the sun goes down, shower, slip on your robe and relax.
