The fresh water estuary harbours an abundance of wildlife and is ideal safe swimming for the younger ones.
Riversdale Beach Resort is only 12-15 minutes drive away with golf course, surf club and general store.
The golf club serves meals on a Friday night, all welcome.
The store has an off licence takeaways and great coffee but please note no petrol.

The golf course is a challenging 9 hole course that has seen the occasional grown man cry. Club hire on request and other than summer school holidays there is no need to book a tee time. Tennis courts are also avalable for hire at the golf club
