Our modern Hokitika motel accommodation complex (built 1998) is located at the southern entrance to Hokitika and is close to shops, restaurants, bars and cafés in the centre of town.

For those of you that would just like to stay within the Motel complex we have recently put in a mini golf course, for those of you that enjoy the full size version we can accommodate you just minutes from the Heritage Highway Motel. Hokitika has a superb 19 hole golf course with very reasonable green fees.

Just minutes traveling to the South will bring you to one of Hokitika`s novel experiences. The Paddle Boat Cruise. This cruise takes you down the Mahinapua creek towards Lake Mahinapua, you will travel at a very sedate speed and be able to take in all the scenery and wildlife. Experience the magic of the White Heron.

The Hokitika River is just metres away from the motel and a stroll down the river will bring you to the beach.When you go there take a fishing rod we have had a few salmon caught recently.

Hokitika has captured the essence of the West Coast`s early development with its Heritage area, local museum and recently restored Carnegie Building. Greenstone is a big feature in the towns bustling centre of art and craft shops. Many bars, cafés and restaurants make the shopping experience a seven day a week party.
