Historic Braemar House is located in Wanganui, adjacent to the banks of the Whanganui River. Built in 1895, Qualmark rated Braemar House has accommodation to both B&B tourists and a separate Backpackers. We offer a glimpse into luxury living in early New Zealand. We are also a short walk to the City Centre and many tourist attractions.

The hostel comprises double, twin, small family and large family units, separate male and female dormatories. A large commercial kitchen services the hostel along with laundry, drying, in ground parking and both broadband and wireless internet services.
This is a laid back very comfortable hostel set in sub tropical grounds.
